The short version

Your songs never leave your device. The site does the conversion right inside your web browser, so your audio file never gets sent to any server — not ours, not anyone else's.

What we keep track of

  • Basic visit counts — which page you opened, what country you came from. No personal details.
  • Conversion stats — for each conversion, we note the input format, the output format, the file size, how long it took, and the file's name. Your audio itself stays on your device; only this small bit of information is recorded, so we know which features people use and where things go wrong.
  • Standard web server logs from the company that hosts the site.

If you'd rather we don't record the filename, just say "no" to analytics in the cookie banner.

Cookies and ads

The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Like most websites, those ads use cookies to count views and sometimes to show you ads that match your interests. If you live in a region that requires us to ask first (Europe, the UK, parts of the United States), you'll see a small banner the first time you visit. You can say no — the converter still works exactly the same way; you'll just see more general ads instead.

Until you choose, we treat your visit as if you had said no. Whatever you pick takes effect right away, no page reload needed.

Other companies involved

We never sell your information. The only outside companies involved are the ones we need to actually run the site:

  • Our hosting company — keeps the website online and records normal server logs.
  • Google Tag Manager — a small loader we use to start up the analytics and ad code. It doesn't collect anything by itself.
  • Google Analytics — counts page views and conversions, with no personal info.
  • Google AdSense — shows the ads on the page.
